Yes, we’re doing it again! About a decade ago, I started this tradition of virtually celebrating New Year’s Eve so no one would have to celebrate New Year’s Eve alone. As a person who has chronic pain and is also high-risk with many autoimmune illnesses, I know what it’s like be alone on a holiday. Since then, we have had a blast year after year–guests gather on Facebook to ring in the New Year during SyFy’s iconic multiple-day marathon. Check out SyFy’s marathon schedule here. This year’s marathon is three days long (!) beginning December 31 at 5 am EST and ending January 3rd at 4 am EST. People usually pop in and out of these parties as opposed to watching every single episode.
