You’re Invited: a Talk about Grieving a Loved One’s Suicide during the Holidays

In the past, I have blogged about how the organization LOSS, Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide, has helped me heal after losing someone I love to suicide. I want to share this virtual event coming up on MONDAY, DECEMBER 5Th at 6:00 pm CST. The wonderful Emily Tiegenkamp is hosting; she lost her brother to suicide. Click HERE to join the event on Monday: I copied and pasted LOSS’s description:

Grieving the loss of a loved one to suicide can be particularly difficult during special events, anniversaries, and Holidays, when we are reminded that an important person is missing from our celebrations and gatherings. This presentation will focus on offering suggestions and strategies to help manage any increased feelings of grief that may arise during the upcoming Holidays. Attendees will hear about the rituals, routines, and practices that fellow survivors have found most meaningful and helpful.
