Review of Arbonne’s Crème Concealer

before and after Arbonne concealer

I’ll make this a quick review as I’m recovering from a rough few weeks with myasthenia gravis (MG).  Last Tuesday, I was in the hospital.  On Saturday, I pushed myself to attend my godson’s 15th birthday.  The day before I told my cousin I might not be able to attend her son’s birthday.  As someone who survived Hodgkin’s Lymphoma twice, she was very understanding.  But on Saturday, I felt like I had enough in the tank to go.  I left after 40 minutes but still I went.  Winning!  One of the most important parts of my beauty routine is wearing concealer because I hate looking tired.  Arbonne is a vegan company; our cosmetics don’t use the toxins present in 90% of U.S. cosmetics.  Arbonne’s Crème Concealer ($23.00) comes in three different shades: Light (click here #7865), Medium (#7866), and Dark (#7867).

Steps:

1 – primer: I put primer on my whole face.  Arbonne’s primer ($42.00; catalog #7825) is really soft, not sticky.  The purpose of primer is to make makeup last all day.

2 – concealer: After using primer, I applied my concealer under my eyes and on my nose.  I used a brush I got from the art store; art store brushes are cheaper thank makeup brushes.  Because there is no special angle needed for concealer (such as a stippling brush used for contouring), an art store brush brush was fine.

3 – foundation:  After blending in the concealer using the brush and my finger (the finger closest to my pinky), I used a foundation brush to apply Arbonne’s Got You Covered Mineral Powder Foundation Broad Spectrum 15 SPF in Bisque ($42.00;#6612).

4 – other: I applied a light blush, a little bronzer (Arbonne’s bronzer is great for contouring) $36.00 catalog #7824, and a little eyeliner.  Because we’re still experiencing summer weather where I am, I went light with my blush, bronzer, and eye makeup.  During the summer, I wear eyeliner or mascara–but not both.

Why I Do Arbonne

I am an Arbonne Independent Consultant.  I do it because it’s a good way for a tired person with five illnesses to supplement income.  Also, I sometimes give makeovers to sick women (so far, mostly cancer and autoimmune patients).  I only feel comfortable using vegan, natural products for these makeovers; I can’t take risks with another person’s health.  If you have any questions about these products, please leave a comment below.  Also, if you do purchase anything, please purchase at http://jessicalynngimeno.arbonne.com/.  (You can browse products without registering.  However, if you do buy something, you need to register as a client.) Consultants have brand new, individual websites (please don’t go to www.arbonne.com).  Because of these changes, a customer no longer has to input a consultant’s ID # for the consultant to get RV credit.
