3 Truths and a Lie; WEGO Challenge Continues

I am participating in WEGO’s National Health Blog Post Month all November.  Today’s prompt is:  Three Truths and a Lie:  Tell us three things that are true about you, your condition, your Health Activism, or your life. Now tell us a lie. Do you think we will be able to tell the difference?

MY ANSWER:

1.  I have more friends with Lupus than Myasthenia Gravis.

2.  Myasthenia Gravis (MG) runs in my family; three of my relatives have MG.

3.  When I was hospitalized in 2008 for plasmapheresis, all my “classmates” (people on my floor) were between 70 to 100-years old.

4.  I once attended a New Kids on the Block concert three hours after surgery.

Think you know the right answer?  Tweet me which # you think is false (my Twitter handle is @JessicaGimeno) or leave a comment below.  nhbmp-logo-300x83In tomorrow’s WEGO prompt (3 pieces of advice for caregivers), I’ll be sharing the correct answer.

Wow! Margie, you know me so well. You got it on the first try. While MG can be passed down, I am the only one in my family who has it.
